Plan your can order

Pick a can and a decoration, enter the cans you fill a month, and see it in pallets, ends and minimums. This tool never shows a price. A person sends you that.

Decoration

Count cans, not cases: 100 cases of 24 is 2,400 cans.

12 is a year of cans. Part months work too: 1.5 is six weeks or so.

What the planner assumes

  • Pallet counts are the standard builds we publish for each size and decoration. A different build changes the count.
  • The plan counts whole pallets, the way cans are packed. Smaller runs may be possible; ask us.
  • One end per can. Ends are listed separately on the ends page.
  • Plan one label at a time. A printed minimum applies to each label, so two designs need two plans.
  • The plan is one order, delivered at once. A minimum applies to that order.
  • No allowance for line loss or damaged cans. Add your own before you send the plan.
  • Minimums and lead times are the published ones for that size and decoration. A lead time is a range, not a delivery date.
  • No price, freight or availability. Those come back from a person, in writing.

A worked example

A brewery fills 3,000 12 oz Standard cans a month and wants a year of brite cans. That is 36,000 cans, which rounds up to five pallets of 8,169: 40,845 cans and 40,845 ends. One pallet lasts about 2.7 months, and five pallets clear the one-pallet minimum.
